Osun PDP Youth in a release issued on Monday caution Otunba Iyiola OMISORE that he is running a divisive campaign that is hurting the party unity.
"Don't destroy the Peoples Democratic Party to satisfy your own selfish ambitions to become Governor of Osun State by all means," AD was destroyed due to over zealous ambition of some people then.
"We want to have a party at the end of this congresses that we can unify and that the reconciliation will be very easy ," "Let's not denigrate other aspirant's and their supporter's and tear the party apart." " Senator Iyiola OMISORE has tried to run an issue-oriented campaign for Dr Bayo Faforiji; obviously the contrast has become sharper of late."
Otunba Iyiola OMISORE Speaking while speaking on his preferred candidate Dr Bayo Faforiji's Campaign at his house that doubled as PDP Secretariat indicated that his utterances clearly shows that he is pursuing a personal interest in the “Dr Bayo Faforiji”chairmanship position because of his dead ambition. Therefore, he should desist from destroying the party with his actions and utterances .
“He has taken the thing personal; the way he talks, it is as if he has something personal against the other Aspirant and the Party . . . why the hullabaloo, jumping from campaign to another, why are you abusing those people that helped you to become Senator,gubernatorial flag bearer and to rise politically when you are still in detention in Agodi Prison for the complicity in the Bola Ige Murder saga?”
“The PDP is a party built on the rule of law and democratic ethos. Osun PDP Youth said OMISORE should not allow himself to be hassled by those he described as ‘selfish’ and ‘greedy’ elements and on issues of party administration, therefore he should not let over ambitious people destroy his legacies. "We're fully prepared to engage in that environment if they want to."
