Olorin Oba Receives Ooni's Blessing
A renowned musician, Fatai Akanbi Valentine who is popularly known as Olorin Oba on Saturday received the royal blessings of the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The highest ranked monarch blessed Fatai Akanbi during the artist's album launch at his Palace, Enuwa, Ile Ife.
Oba Enitan Ogunwusi who had earlier sent one of his chiefs to represent him suprisingly showed up in company of Honourable Rotimi Makinde among other big wig in Ife, as he was well received by the totality of everyone present.
Ooni Of Ife who wasted no time in blessing and praying for Akanbi who has already knelt before him after prostrating in respect to the king.
The king however left immediately after blessing the singer who warble the appraisal of the king till the end of the event.
